Westview High
Westview High, the home of the Wolverines! Our mission at Westview High is to provide educational opportunities for all students to achieve academic success through our multiple pathways and to develop leaders who will become responsible citizens in our communities. This mission takes an entire village of families, staff, and community partners working together to ensure a positive learning environment where all students reach their fullest potential.
Located in Northwest Omaha, students benefit from a rigorous core and elective curriculum in a unique, innovative and collaborative setting. All students take core courses in English, math, social studies and science and can select from various elective courses. Westview High provides numerous advanced academic options including AP, Honors and Dual Enrollment programs.
Westview High students begin their high school career with the Freshman Academy, helping them build the skills to succeed. During their freshman year, students select a pathway where they collaborate with teachers and students inside and outside of their pathway area. The pathways available at Westview High are:

We want our students to challenge themselves academically, select courses that prepare them for their future, and that motivate them from day to day. The goal is for our students to be at school every day, enjoy the atmosphere of learning, be engaged and responsible for their learning.

The first senior class graduates in Spring 2025. Westview High was one of five new schools (two high schools, two elementary schools and one middle school) completed as part of Omaha Public Schools $409.9 million phase 2 bond in 2018. Westview High has joined with the YMCA to offer a health and recreation facility. This partnership will support our students, families, and community. We are grateful for our community’s support for building positive learning environments for students across our district.
